On Friday 19th January 2016, 14 children went to
Twickenham, which is in London, to witness England Rugby Squad train before the
6 Nations. There are 6 teams in the 6 Nations: England, Ireland, Wales,
Scotland, France and Italy. There was 45 minutes of training. There were four
drills. One of the drills was passing and another drill was throwing and catching.
There are 23 players in the England rugby squad . Dylan Hartley is the captain.
George Ford sprained his ankle after 20
minutes. He still took part in the
training afterwards though. Eddie
Jones is the coach of the England rugby team. The mascot is a giant bulldog (the
size of a man). All 14 children said they would love to go again.
